The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has been conducting the WBJEE under the guidance of Government of West Bengal since 1962. The government of West Bengal permits WBJEEB to conduct Common, Combined, Competitive Entrance Examination to get Admission in various colleges of West Bengal for Undergraduate Professional Courses and Vocational Courses. WBJEE 2019 is for the Academic Year 2019.

WBJEEB has released the Application Form for WBJEE 2019 which is to be held on 26th May 2019.WBJEE 2019 is an Entrance Examination for the Candidates who Wish to Undertake B.Tech/B.Pharma/Architecture Programs in West Bengal colleges for the Academic Year 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE 2019:

Candidates who are Willing to Apply for WBJEE 2019 must fulfil all the below mentioned Conditions:

• He/She must be a Citizen of India and should be a domicile of West Bengal.
• Candidate must be a Resident of West Bengal for 10 Consecutive Years.
• As well as, Parents must have the Permanent Residence Adress in West Bengal.
• There is no Upper Age Limit but the Applicant must be 17 Years Old as on 31st December 2019.
• Similarly, For Marine Engineering Upper age limit is 25 Years old.
• The Applicant must have Passed the 10+2 or the Equivalent Exam with Maths and Physics along with either of the subjects like Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science with the Minimum Marks of 45% Aggregate. Similarly, 40% of Aggregate Marks for the Reserved Category Candidates.
• Also, Candidates must have to Pass English Subject with Minimum of 30% Aggregate Marks.

The Syllabus mainly consist of three Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and covers the Portion of 10+2 or Equivalent Curriculum.

WBJEE 2019 Examination Pattern:

• The examination will have Two Slots per Day.
  • Slot 1- Candidates will have to Answer Mathematics Paper from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
  • Slot 2- Candidates will have to Answer a Combination of Physics and Chemistry Paper from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
• WBJEE will be Offline Mode of Examination.
• There are Three Category of Questions
  • Category 1
    • Only One Option is Correct.
    • 1 Mark for Each Correct Answer and in the same way -0.25 Mark for an Incorrect Answer.
    • Unattempted Questions will fetch 0 Mark.
  • Category 2
    • Only one option is correct.
    • 2 Marks for Each Correct Answer and in the same way -0.5 Marks for an Incorrect Answer.
    • NotOnly Marking the Wrong Answer ButAlso Marking more than One Option in the OMR sheet will be -0.5 Marks.
    • Unattempted Questions will fetch 0 Mark.
  • Category 3
    • One or more options may be correct.
    • 2 marks will be awarded if all correct choices are selected. Also, the combination of correct and wrong response will be treated as incorrect and will fetch 0 marks.
    • Similarly, For a partially correct response, marks awarded will be = 2 X (no. of correct options marked + total no. of correct options).
    • Unattempted Questions will fetch 0 Mark.

WBJEE 2019 Application Procedure:

• Candidates first have to Register on the WBJEE Official Website and then have to fill all the required details and submit the required documents in the application form.
• Applicants have to upload the Scanned Photo and Signature according to the given Specifications and then submit the application form.
• Examination fee of  INR 500 can be Paid through Online.
• If a Candidates wishes to make any changes in the application submitted he/she can correct it when the Correction Window is opened.

WBJEE 2019 Admit Card:

Once the Candidate completes the Application Process successfully, he/she can download their WBJEE admit card from the Official Website by Providing their registration details once it is released. Applicants have to Download their Admit Card from 14th May 2019.

WBJEE 2019 Results:

• Visit the WBJEE 2019 Official website.
• Log in by entering your WBJEE 2019 Application Number and Password.
• WBJEE 2019 Result and Rank Card will appear on Screen.
• Candidates can calculate his/her Score from his/her Machine Read Response and also by the Answer Keys published.
• Also, Candidates can have access to the Calculation Sheet from the Board, for which he/she will have to Pay INR 500 by Demand Draft for each Paper.
• The Calculation Sheet will be Sent to the Candidate Through Email.

WBJEE 2019 Counselling Process:

• There are Four Major Steps
  • Online Registration and Payment of Counselling Fee.
    • Candidates will have to register themselves and also pay the Counselling Fee which is set by WBJEEB.
  • Online Choice Filling and Locking.
    • Candidates have to lock their choices once the counselling process starts and further changes will not be allowed.
  • Seat Allotment.
    • Candidates' seats will be locked based on their choices and also based on the seats' availability at the Institutes.
  • Reporting and Document Verification.
    • Candidates will have to report to their Counselling Centre along with the required documents for the verification process.

 

 

BITSAT 2019 is an admission test, which will be conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science(BITS) for the academic year 2019. The students will be offered with the courses like BE/BPharm/MSc. BITS set the cutoff for the examination, students who clear the examination will be eligible for admissions in BITS.

BITSAT 2019 Exam Pattern:

BITSAT is an Online Examination. The questions for the examination appear from Physics, chemistry, English and Logical Reasoning along with Mathematics or Biology which were in class 11th and 12th. The questions are asked in the MCQ (multiple choice questions) form. Examination will be carried out in 4 different sessions. The exam will be conducted for the total of 150 marks. There will be a negative marking too. Each correct answer will be rewarded with +3 marks and an incorrect answer will be rewarded with -1 marks.

Examination Timing: The examination will be conducted as 2 slots per day, each of which will be of 3 hours. First session will be in the morning from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and also similarly in the second session too, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. 

12 additional questions: 12 additional questions will be given to those who can complete all the 150 questions within 3 hours of time, these 12 questions should also be answered in the same 3 hours. Once the candidate has completed 150 questions and are given with the 12 questions, the candidate is not allowed to go back and make changes in the answered 150 questions.

 BITSAT 2019 Application Procedure:

• Interested students can apply through online @bitsadmission.com.
• First, Candidates have to  Register.
• Candidates have to provide all the required information and complete the BITSAT Registration Process.
• Candidates can pay the application fee Online.
• Application fee for male is Rs. 3,150 and for female Rs. 2.650.
• Candidates applying test at Dubai Rs.5600.

BITSAT 2019 Admit Card:

• Candidates can download their admission tickets from 12th April 2019 to 13th May 2019.
• In order to download the admit card, candidates have to provide their registration number, security pin and other requirements if any.
• Candidates must carry a copy of the downloaded admission ticket along with the any of the identity proof to the examination center.

BITSAT 2019 Results:

• BITSAT 2019 Results will be announced by BITSAT Pilani in the month of June 2019.
• Before the results are released the scores of the exam will me made available to the candidates.
• Candidates can check their results in the BITSAT official website, by entering their application number and the password.
• In case if the candidate forgets their application number or password, they can click on forgot application number and password then the candidate will be asked to enter registered mobile number, email id and date of birth.
• Once the user enters the requested information the result will be displayed.
• Along with the results, admit list and the wait list will also be displayed. 

BITSAT 2019 Cutoff:

• BITSAT will announce the results in 4 or 5 iterations, each iteration results will have different cutoff.
• BITSAT Cutoff is set based on the difficulty level of the examination, highest score in the exam, previous year cutoff trend.
• Iteration Cutoff ranges from 271 to 250.
• The Wait List Cutoff is 240 for all the rounds.

BITSAT 2019 Counselling process:

• BITS will start its Counselling and Admission Process in the month of May. 
• Usually, BITS start its Counselling Process within a week after the results are announced.
• BITSAT first merit list qualified students will be allowed to undergo counselling in the month of May/June.
• Candidates who clear the BITSAT examination must fill the counselling application form which will be made available in the official website in the month of May.
• BITSAT counselling will be carried out in 2 different stages-
  • Document Verification
  • BITSAT seat allotment at their BITS campus.
• BITS waitlist candidates have to take part in the next rounds of the counselling process.
• In the decreasing order, candidates with the lower ranks have to take part in the successive rounds of counselling.
• Counselling process will be carried out until all the seats from BITS campuses and the courses offered are also filled.

BITSAT 2019 Guidelines:

• Candidates are instructed to fill their details correctly and clearly in their application form.
• Passwords or any other security or personal Information should not be shared to any others.
• The rules and regulations or the instructions should be read carefully.
• Candidates are advised to carry their admission tickets along with the government identity proof to the examination centre.
• Any of the electronic gadgets like digital watch, calculators similarly databook, log book, databook or any such kind devices too are not allowed into the examination hall.
• Candidates have to visit the official website regularly for updates regarding the examination.
• For any of the technical issues during the examination or the technical issues approach the examination centre invigilator.
• Any of the eatables are not allowed inside the examination centre.
• Candidates with considerable health issues are allowed to carry their required medicines and tablets along with them.
