The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has been conducting the WBJEE under the guidance of Government of West Bengal since 1962. The government of West Bengal permits WBJEEB to conduct Common, Combined, Competitive Entrance Examination to get Admission in various colleges of West Bengal for Undergraduate Professional Courses and Vocational Courses. WBJEE 2019 is for the Academic Year 2019.

WBJEEB has released the Application Form for WBJEE 2019 which is to be held on 26th May 2019.WBJEE 2019 is an Entrance Examination for the Candidates who Wish to Undertake B.Tech/B.Pharma/Architecture Programs in West Bengal colleges for the Academic Year 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE 2019:
Candidates who are Willing to Apply for WBJEE 2019 must fulfil all the below mentioned Conditions:
- He/She must be a Citizen of India and should be a domicile of West Bengal.
- Candidate must be a Resident of West Bengal for 10 Consecutive Years.
- As well as, Parents must have the Permanent Residence Adress in West Bengal.
- There is no Upper Age Limit but the Applicant must be 17 Years Old as on 31st December 2019.
- Similarly, For Marine Engineering Upper age limit is 25 Years old.
- The Applicant must have Passed the 10+2 or the Equivalent Exam with Maths and Physics along with either of the subjects like Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science with the Minimum Marks of 45% Aggregate. Similarly, 40% of Aggregate Marks for the Reserved Category Candidates.
- Also, Candidates must have to Pass English Subject with Minimum of 30% Aggregate Marks.
WBJEE 2019 Syllabus:
The Syllabus mainly consist of three Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and covers the Portion of 10+2 or Equivalent Curriculum.

WBJEE 2019 Examination Pattern:
- The examination will have Two Slots per Day.
- Slot 1- Candidates will have to Answer Mathematics Paper from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Slot 2- Candidates will have to Answer a Combination of Physics and Chemistry Paper from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- WBJEE will be Offline Mode of Examination.
- There are Three Category of Questions
- Category 1
- Only One Option is Correct.
- 1 Mark for Each Correct Answer and in the same way -0.25 Mark for an Incorrect Answer.
- Unattempted Questions will fetch 0 Mark.
- Category 2
- Only one option is correct.
- 2 Marks for Each Correct Answer and in the same way -0.5 Marks for an Incorrect Answer.
- NotOnly Marking the Wrong Answer ButAlso Marking more than One Option in the OMR sheet will be -0.5 Marks.
- Unattempted Questions will fetch 0 Mark.
- Category 3
- One or more options may be correct.
- 2 marks will be awarded if all correct choices are selected. Also, the combination of correct and wrong response will be treated as incorrect and will fetch 0 marks.
- Similarly, For a partially correct response, marks awarded will be = 2 X (no. of correct options marked + total no. of correct options).
- Unattempted Questions will fetch 0 Mark.
- Category 1
WBJEE 2019 Application Procedure:
- Candidates first have to Register on the WBJEE Official Website and then have to fill all the required details and submit the required documents in the application form.
- Applicants have to upload the Scanned Photo and Signature according to the given Specifications and then submit the application form.
- Examination fee of INR 500 can be Paid through Online.
- If a Candidates wishes to make any changes in the application submitted he/she can correct it when the Correction Window is opened.
WBJEE 2019 Admit Card:
Once the Candidate completes the Application Process successfully, he/she can download their WBJEE admit card from the Official Website by Providing their registration details once it is released. Applicants have to Download their Admit Card from 14th May 2019.
WBJEE 2019 Results:
- Visit the WBJEE 2019 Official website.
- Log in by entering your WBJEE 2019 Application Number and Password.
- WBJEE 2019 Result and Rank Card will appear on Screen.
- Candidates can calculate his/her Score from his/her Machine Read Response and also by the Answer Keys published.
- Also, Candidates can have access to the Calculation Sheet from the Board, for which he/she will have to Pay INR 500 by Demand Draft for each Paper.
- The Calculation Sheet will be Sent to the Candidate Through Email.
WBJEE 2019 Counselling Process:
- There are Four Major Steps
- Online Registration and Payment of Counselling Fee.
- Candidates will have to register themselves and also pay the Counselling Fee which is set by WBJEEB.
- Online Choice Filling and Locking.
- Candidates have to lock their choices once the counselling process starts and further changes will not be allowed.
- Seat Allotment.
- Candidates' seats will be locked based on their choices and also based on the seats' availability at the Institutes.
- Reporting and Document Verification.
- Candidates will have to report to their Counselling Centre along with the required documents for the verification process.
- Online Registration and Payment of Counselling Fee.
